Sister Act - National Tour

Broadway’s acclaimed musical comedy based on the smash-hit film!

Sister Act’s Kingsley Leggs Plays His ‘Ne’er Do Well’ Bad Guy with ‘Swagger’

The national tour of the musical Sister Act, the show about a wannabe diva who witnesses a crime and hides out in a convent, will roll into Seattle from August 20 through August 25. Before then, get acquainted with Sister Act’s resident bad boy, Kingsley Leggs. The Broadway vet plays Curtis Jackson, a character the actor smoothly describes as a “bad guy,” “thug” and a “ne’er do well.” But don’t get too frightened; Leggs says Curtis is only a “musical-theater bad guy,” and loves getting laughs out of his “non reactions” to the hijinks surrounding him. In the video below, Leggs describes why he wanted to reprise his performance from Broadway in the national tour and what he loves about the message of Sister Act.
